Sentor Bayo Osinowo representing Lagos East Senatorial district has urged Muslims across the country to make use of the Eid-el-kabir celebration to spread the message of love and unity to everyone, irrespective of their religious or ethnic boundaries.

In a statement signed by his media aide, Prince Oladega Ibrahim, the Senator who is currently in Saudi Arabia on the entourage of the Senate president, Senator Hammed Lawan to observe this year’s hajj advised Muslims to follow the teachings of Prophet Muhammad on Eid-el-kabir and also to always consider the welfare of the needy.

He admonished Muslims to use the opportunity of Eid-el-kabir to pray for the unity of the country as well as to extend a hand of friendship to their neighbors in order to reflect the beauty of Islam.

The Chairman, Senate Committee on Industry, who doubles as Vice Chairman, Senate Committee on Marine Transportation, also urged the residents of Lagos East senatorial district and the people of Lagos State in general to see themselves as one and continue to support the progress of the state at large.
